Router randomly restarts

I have an issue where my router will randomly restart, at random times. Most often we notice this during the workday when working from home, which causes a lot of disruption.
Looking a bit further into the logs on the router, there are logs correlating with the restarts:
1981-01-01 00:00:10 [Error][Alarm-Log] AlarmID:104001,AlarmLevel:Error,Device reset. Cause: System reset due to kernel panic, Terminal:OTHER
It seems like this crops up on the community forum from time to time, and that people have reported success with a firmware upgrade.
My router is currently on version 1.05t - could someone from the support team help me?
I have tried (and failed) to use the live chat to resolve this issue over the last couple of days.

Since it's been almost a month since the update to my router firmware, I wanted to give an update.
Since the update I have had zero restarts of the router, so I am very happy that this has resolved my issue.
Cheers

Hi Tom
It usually takes 15 minutes max. Can I start the update at 12? (today)

Hi Debbie,
Thanks for your quick response!
How long does an update typically take?
I need to use the connection at 14:00 - if it's likely to complete before then, I'm happy to do the update ASAP.
Cheers,
Tom

Hi tommclaughlan
I'm really sorry to hear this.
We can try a different FW version for your router. When would be the best time for us to update the router? (we advise to leave the router switched on, without being rebooted whilst we update the firmware)
Thanks
