Ive noticed in the last 2 or 3 weeks that when my router gets reset or loses power, it takes between 15 mins to several hours for it to reboot to a solid white light.
Then my SSID names are reset to default.
Had a couple of power cuts recently, the first time it took an exceptionally long time for the internet to return. It was hours with the router flashing orange - i assumed the storm had damaged some infrastructure.
Today I was just moving some furniture & turned the router off so I could do that. When I turned it back on again it took 15mins to reboot, flashing orange the entire time before in the last min white/orange, then solid white. This seems like an exceptionally long time.
Is something wrong with the router? Why is it resetting the SSID?
I have had the router 3 years & its never lost the SSID before.
Additionally, I have noticed some LAN wi-fi interuptions in the past weeks.
I have a network SSD with old movies on it so I can watch them on the TV. In the past weeks the videos frequently stop & the TV says "connection lost"
Also, when I copy files over the home network, from one computer to another i get frequent failures - this is normally very rare (1 in 100), but recently its very common, at least 3 out of 4 times it fails.
