Sagemcom router won't let my VPN connect

Since I got the Sagemcom router from TT, I've not been able to connect to my work VPN unless I put the laptop concerned into the DMZ. Obviously this isn't ideal, so I've gone back to using the old router - Huawei HG633  - which works fine. I think I gather from reading other posts that there's a firmware update to fix the Sagemcom? If so, can I have it, please?

I'll try to do the update between 7 to 7:30. I'm sorry, the firmware update has to be done remotely, we can't send it out as a file

Hi Chris, 

That'd be fine as long as it was done 9am.  

Alternatively, would you trust me to do the update myself?   I've done router updates before, and I guess you could email me the firmware?

Yes that the actual firmware version. We can do the firmware update tomorrow morning after 7am if that's OK

Thanks for the quick reply. Can I connect it after work today - say at 5pm? Got a lot on today!

It says it's running 'software version SG4K100136'. Is that actually the firmware in reality?

If you connect your Sagemcom router to the line then we can check your firmware version and make the necessary changes.
