TalkTalk DNS Servers not working

Hi. For the past 24 hours TalkTalk DNS servers have not been working in my area - at least 3 other TalkTalk customers are affected that I know of.

 

I have tried resetting the router, using a different router, microfilter and cables. All of these were plugged into the test socket. The only solution is to change the DNS server in the router settings to something other than TalkTalk.

 

Please can you look into this issue?

Hi. The TalkTalk DNS servers are back up thanks. I didn't need to restart the router, i just set the DNS server back to test and they are fixed now.

Could you try powering down the router for a full 30 minutes and then retest again please.

I'm sorry to hear this. I've checked and I can see that there is currently an incident raised for this and this is currently under investigation with our team. I will check again later on this afternoon to see if there are any updates on this.
