I have been out of contract some time now and have received an email offering Fast Broadband with Unlimited UK Calls. However, when I attempt to take up the offer it says:
"line check shows you aren't able to upgrade to the selected TalkTalk package" even though it was offered to me.
I am now stuck with very expensive monthly payments.
Is there a cheaper contract that IS available to me?

@Schistereo Fast Broadband is the most basic package that Talktalk offers - it can't be described as an "upgrade" at all!
Follow @Skynet_TX's sound advice or use Chat if you prefer.

Best thing to do would be to call the 'loyalty team' on 0345 172 0088, they will be able to help you get the best package at the best price.
You may have to listen to some recorded messages when you call that number, but when it asks what you are calling for just ask for the loyalty team.
