Utube have restricted views. I can not take the restrictions off the utube settings. I do not know why the restrictions are there.

Hi
this is a separate issue and you would be best starting a new thread in the email section so as not to confuse the two.
Thanks
Karl.

Okay. Every message about this, (including the code to authenticate my account in order for me to like or comment) is placed by your Spam filter into my email Spam folder. I mark it 'not spam' and yet new messages are still sent to the Spam folder.
So the Talk Talk Spam filter thinks messages originating from the Talk Talk Community are spam!

Hi Shalom60
This issue is still under investigation with our team and they are working to fix this issue ASAP.
Thanks

Made no difference, in that the YouTube Restricted slider is greyed out even with all settings (i.e. Kids Safe and Spam filter) turned off.

Hi
Can you try it now please. go to the youtube menu and make sure that restricted mode is set to off.

It makes no difference whatsoever. I hope the technical team come up with a solution, as if not, many customers including myself will not be renewing their contract.

Hi
You need to turn off scam protection specifically.
Thanks
Karl.

Turning off Homesafe settings makes no difference whatsoever.

@kahooma, while Talktalk is trying to find a fix for the issue, you need to have the Homesafe off while accessing YouTube and make sure it's on while you expect children to need use of the Internet.
It will be sorted as soon as they can.

I have done some extensive testing and turning on any aspect of Home Safe causes YouTube to go into Restricted Mode. This means that, in order to use YouTube properly and watch the current, up-to-date videos that I need to watch for my job, I have to leave my home network and child open to all of the dangers of the internet. This needs to be fixed ASAP. It is definitely TalkTalk and the Home Safe settings that are causing this. When I turn off Kids Safe, it works. When I turn it back on with any setting, including allowing YouTube, it turns on Restricted Mode.

Hi
can you log into My Account and under homesafe settings, turn off scam protection and see if this allows the youtube settings to change.
Thanks
Karl.
