Thank you. Are you currently using the HG633 router? This should work ok with VPN.
Have you tried factory resetting the router using the pin hole reset for ten seconds?

Hi @vodkajo,
If you have the Sagemcom Wi-Fi Hub (which has one single LED, and a bronze colour behind the holes on the front), then this may well be caused by the firmware version. The support team here may be able to change the firmware version, however they will probably not be around until Monday now.
For one of the TalkTalk Support Team on this community to be able to look into this you will need to update your community profile to include :
This will allow them to identify you, and they will then be able to help.
