My internet still not working after being restricted I can’t afford to continue what I’m paying I just think it’s very dear used to be £22 a month now £47

Your account is out of contract so you are paying full price I would suggest contacting the loyalty team on 03451720088 they will be able to see what options are available to reduce your costs

@Laura80, there's no "social tariff" with Talktalk but Job Centres have a system in place that helps some people:

Other than that, you need to check whether you are still in contract. If you are not in contract, phone them, and see if you can get closer to your original price.

You can cut it to the bare bones of covering the landline and broadband  - you may not need their TV facilities, for example,  but you might need the phone calls boost for calls to UK numbers if you make many calls. Check all the options, as many are free anyway: last caller barring, caller identify. Voicemail is NOT free.
