I am having issued connecting to my works enterprise VPN
I have had my IT department look into it and the computer is able to connect as it should on other networks but on my home wifi it seems to be blocking the VPN.
We have have run several tests and the IT department said the route to the VPN server is working because we can connect using "SSTP" but when using the normal IKEv2 connection the connection show 0 packets being received.
They have asked to check that port 500 and port 4500 are not being blocked.
My laptop connects directly to my router via WiFi so there are no other devices in the way.. so the issue is with either the router or the connection.
The router I'm using is Huawei HG633 H/W version H.1.01 S/W version: v2.00t
Can you please help.

Amazing that seems to have resolved it... we also disabled safe home setting so not sure if it was that.

Thank you. If you are still experiencing the same issue following the 30 minute power down then we can send a replacement router for testing.

I have restarted the router but not powered it down for a full 30 mins.

This router should work ok with VPN. Have you tried powering down the router for a full 30 minutes?
