how to claim compensation for no iternet connection

my internet connection has been off and on for weeks

it seems to be fixed and i wae told by customer sefvices i will receive compensation for my inconvenience

tried to get in touch to discuss this yesterday by chat line

ended up chatting to 4 different people for 2 hours then was told their to busy at the moment and that they will get back to me  which has not happened

You say it was "off and on for weeks," was this ever for more than a period of 48 hours at a time and was an engineer intervention required to fix it? 

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries.
