I have had cctv fitted at home and the engineer could not connect my mobile over broadband, the tech control says that they can see the device through the router but the router is not good enough to get it working, suggests an updated router is required

Hi @jeffc999

Further to my last post, how is your CCTV supposed to connect to your WiFi? Do you:-

  1. Select the Wi-Fi network name & manually enter the password
  2. WPS
  3. Via an app

What make/model of CCTV is it?

Hi there

Just to confirm you are unable to connect your router to your mobile device as it is saying that the router is not good enough?
