Okay. I commented on a post similar but was told to make my own topic and update my profile info. I believe I have now done both of these things. As the title says I have stopped being able to receive or send emails using the IOS mail app. When logging into my webmail using browsers everything works fine. I just find this method way too clunky and its nice to receive notifications and the mail app will auto add important dates etc onto my calendar. I tried to fix the issue myself by following info online for the correct setting to use IE ports numbers etc. This did not work which is why I have come here. I commented on another post and read something about : "If you saw the message from TalkTalk advising "Our records show that you are still accessing your email using unencrypted email settings..." then the email address receiving that notification has now been limited to webmail only access. This is not a fault. It's a last resort action by TalkTalk to force you to stop the use of email connections not secured by TLS 1.2 encryption." I don't remember seeing this message but could this be the issue? I don't see why as I have made no changes how I access or use my email and my email app stopped working out of the blue. So far this community has been helpful and it would be great to resolve this issue. Xxx

Hi nathanpleasefixmyemail, thanks for clearing that up. I've added your mailbox to those to be restored to normal function. Please allow 48 hours for the change to complete.

Hi Ady thanks for the reply:) sorry if there is confusion caused by my post I was just trying to give as much info as possible. My settings say I am on ios version 16.3.1. I followed these steps. https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Articles/Setting-up-email-on-an-iOS-device/ta-p/2208384 Yet my email still doesn’t want to work on iOS app. It keeps saying my user name or password is wrong even tho they are correct as I can log into webmail perfectly fine

Hi nathanpleasefixmyemail, your comment is a little confusing. Please confirm the version of IOS and the settings you're using just the port numbers will suffice.
