Cannot transition Email

Hi, I am completely stuck.  My husband's old account obviously included a Mailbox Manager.  I think he set up 4 aliases which covered the 4 family members.  But when he died (2021), I had to have a completely new account registered under a different email address (a gmail address).  I was told the new account would be linked to the old account.  Now I'm stuck.  Although I am registered to MyAccount and have a Broadband contract, there is no option for me to select Mailbox Manager.  Neither can I register my email with EveryMail as it takes me to MyAccount at Talktalk, which is of course registered to my gmail account.  I am just going round in circles and only have 14 days to resolve this!  I tried the WebChat Help line yesterday and he said there was some trouble with MyAccount, but I have tried MyAccount again today with no success.

If I cannot retain the use of my email, I estimate I have 61 organisations (and counting) to tell of a change of email address within the next 10 days.

Assuming, of course, the software allows to use that email address?  It didn't last time I tried it in 2021.

Would it help if I changed MyAccount to link to my old "Talktalk-supported" email address?  Would that then prompt the Mailbox Manager option to appear?

No email, but it was a banner at the top of the page in Talktalk webmail telling me to subscribe to Everymail by 28 July.

There is a private check section I have corrected it for you as we can't display emails on a public section.  Just confirm you did not receive an email telling to subscribe to Everymail right?

Yes.  My active Talktalk Broadband account is a Fibre 35 contract.  There is no mention of any Mailbox and there is no option to add it.  It is registered to my gmail address because I was told in 2021 that it could not be registered to my xxx.com address.  However, 2 (aliases) email addresses of the type @xxx.com are still used by myself and my son.  If this were a private chat, I could give you much more detail including the original (my husband's) Talktalk account number and mailbox email address.

Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience, just to understand you better you are calling in because you need to link all the other email to your active TalkTalk Broadband account?

I should point out that these are legacy email (alias) addresses ... @dsl.pipex.com.  But it is my son's only email address and my main email address ie the one that is registered with all official bodies eg council, DVLA, TV licensing, banks, financial institutions, airlines, doctors, vets, Charity Commission, social memberships, ticket agencies etc etc etc
