Hi there. I'm not sure how familiar you are with the system but if you are a very new "newbie" then the way to go is click on the Address Book then when that opens click on the blue shaded "New Contact" button and a new window should open to input the details. That button should maybe have "Add new contact" on it to be clearer.
I just did a dummy addition and mine is working ok
