I have been receiving over the last 2 weeks emails purporting to be from banks asking me to update my security details. They appear to come from the banks but also appear to have come from tiscali. co,uk or talk talk.net addresses in the body of the message.
This morning I had one from Santander obscured for customer security in the message line.
these have been coming since the webmail was changed/updated.
Why are these not being seen as security risks by talk talk.

Has a warning gone out to talk talk customers about this specific action recently where there appears to be a talk talk or tiscali address connected with the email.
As with all phishing emails these look convincing

Criminals have recently been spoofing previously captured TalkTalk email addresses using the recent upgrade of TalkTalk Mail as a potential cover for their criminal activity. The fact that the mailbox address is still active doesn't mean the scam mail was sent by that mailbox. Please use the guide below to report the event to TalkTalk.
