Emails from TT to my own O365 account being rejected

In addition to my TalkTalk email, I (among others) have my own paid for Microsoft 365 email and domain.

I've just tried sending an email from my TalkTalk account to my own 365 email, which usually works fine, and it is getting rejected:

Remote server returned '550 5.7.509 Access denied, sending domain talktalk.net does not pass DMARC verification and has a DMARC policy of reject.'

I've not changed anything on the DMARC policy on my 365 account, so what is wrong at the TalkTalk end?

Oh and the usual thing with Outlook wanting the password when it shouldn't is back intermittently - again!

Yup - and removed the old wrong address.

The give away was this bit:

X-SECURESERVER-ACCT: ******@*****.ukX-SID: PM0Xus2z28KTkReceived: from vsmx001.tt.xion.oxcs.net ([153.92.124.184])        (using TLSv1.2 with cipher ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 256/256 bits)        (Client did not present a certificate)        by CMGW with ESMTPS        id PM0guWzqgm3qePM0iuyBYs; Wed, 11 Jun 2025 07:01:01 -0700X-CM-Forward:******@*****.uk

And a bit lower down it had:

From: <******@talktalk.net>To: <******@*****.uk>

Where it has ******@*****.uk. the address it should have been going to (which appeared under the same name in Outlook) is identical except is ends ".com".

The ".uk" variant used to have automatic forwarding to my ".com" email until GoDaddy discontinued it without saying anything.

Problem found and resolved.

Sorry about that, please try to correct that and confirm if you we're able to do that. Thanks

Looking through the detailed mail info, I've found it.

For some reasons Outlook had picked up one of my other, almost identical email addresses which used to have forwarding on it, but doesn't any more. That is why it was being rejected.

Hi there @georgeh2011, I'm just going to run a few diagnostics with you. Please check if the internet is working perfectly using your device or laptop and also confirm how you are accessing your emails. (is it via webmail or app?) Thanks
