Thanks, @mandisa1-TT, yes, it was the customer who needed to update Private Notes, but as you have got both addresses now with .net, it seems everything is under control......

@mandisa1-TT, do you mean NOT entered .com?

 

Both email addresses should end in .net, as I understand it. 

 

@stevedurham1959, did you update the details in Private Notes for staff to avoid connecting the .com one?

My apologies, I have located 2 of your accounts. It seems the email address that you are experiencing issues on is linked on the disconnected account. I have completed the form for you and the back-office team should be able to link the email address to your active broadband account.

Please NEVER display personal information in the public thread. 

 

The email addresses should be in Private Notes near the end of Personal Information in the profile area. 

 

You access this via your avatar, settings etc. Make sure you SAVE CHANGES.

I have had  a previous account that is now disconnected.A far as  I can remember,the email address I used was: XXXXX This is one of the two email addresses I still use. The other is : YYYYYYYY

Hello, the email you are asking about should have read .net not .com. my mistake.

I have located your account and can confirm that only one of the two email addresses you provided is linked to your active broadband account. I will be completing a web form to link the other email address as well, ensuring it is excluded from the EveryMail migration process. The email address with a domain talktalk.com on your private message is not linked, can you confirm if the email address was ever linked to a disconnected account you may have had with us in the past?
