Expanding an email

I've just switched to a new Android phone. On the old phone I could expand an individual message in the Netmail App in the usual way by touching the screen and moving my fingers apart. But this doesn't work on the new phone. The procedure zooms in on the screen in other programmes but not in the Netmail App. I can't find a setting that would facilitate this.

Thanks for the advice, but I've now managed to resolve the problem. I did so by enabling the "force enable zoom" option in Chrome's accessibility settings

Have you tried double tapping the screen. This sometimes works.

Other than that I'd suggest this is a limitation / incompatibility within the phone itself rather than with the app.
