My sincere greetings to all;
How can I change my email address?... I would like to change my current TalkTalk.net email address to my Yahoo email account, but the TalkTalk website doesn't give me that option, telling me I should be connected to the TalkTalk Wi-Fi network. I work/use TalkTalk through my TalkTalk subscription for internet access, and the help link never helps because it's always loading... so I'm reaching out to all of you in case someone can help me with this problem. I've been trying for several months now... but without success.

I did notice but the narrative was continual so made an educated assumption they were one and the same.

@llibert sorry I now understand. It's a known issue with the forum at the moment and the company that hosts the forum is working on a solution.
A work around is to finish your message, then press a word and a menu appears. Then select all, then select copy, refresh the page and hit reply again. Then press in the box and select paste, then post.
The above is for mobile devices. On a pc use the right mouse button in place of the press commands.
All seems good now @mandisa1-TT @amahle-TT so I think this thread can be closed as the original issue is now resolved.

My email is working fine now thanks to the changes you helped me make.
The problem is with the TalkTalk Community page (which we're using to communicate). My avatar always shows the number 1, as if something is pending. When I click on the avatar, a menu appears with only the bell icon; the email envelope icon is missing.
But the most important thing is that whenever I try to reply to your posts or messages to thank you, I almost always get a message on a yellow background saying that the action cannot be completed. That's all. I'm happy to be able to greet you and thank you again for your continued interest and appreciated help. fr8ys

If it is with the customers Yahoo email, then they will need to consult Yahoo for a solution.
@llibert can you confirm which email address is giving you issues please.

@fr8ys Thank you so much for the support, judging from the last message I thought the issue might be with the Email address the customer uses on Community profile, as they mentioned the Avator and an issue when posting.
We have checked the customer's account, and the email address has already been changed to Yahoo

This seems to be a different issue to that originally reported.
Can you answer the following please so we are certain what your issue is please?
1. have you managed to change your email address in my Account now as this was your original issue?
2. Are you now experiencing issues sending emails using your TalkTalk email address?
@mandisa1-TT @amahle-TT if number 1 is still an issue, I think you will need to intervene and manually change the customers email address in My Account for them. Sorry just noted you have mentioned this is now ok.
If issue 2 is now also an issue for the customer, then this is similar to 2 other recent events over the weekend I have responded to and raised with @lorrainef over the weekend. This again is nothing I can help with and will require yours or the tech teams advice
