Link email addresses to broadband account

Please link my email addresses with my broadband account.

I have updated my profile with my broadband account number and detailed the four email addresses to be linked.

 

Please note that I cannot currently access my emails due to the restrictions and the block you have applied. I find this very disconcerting given the fact I have been a loyal customer for many years.

TalkTalk could have had the decency and courtesy of letting me know before they blocked total access. 

 

Please help urgently.

Everyone.

 

I wouldn't bother to trying to complain as I called to raise a complaint and I'm caller 36 in the que "ridiculous"

I tried chat yesterday and I was on for 2 hours and got nowhere... It took me 30 minutes to get passed the chat bot…

You have posted your email address in your biography. That information is publicly accessible. Putting personal contact details there is not recommended.

 

If you want to inform your contacts of an alternative email address, then it would be best to send them an email.

TalkTalk is fine, when there are no issues, but getting issues resolved can be a real headache.
Incorrect information on TalkTalk help pages is unhelpful.

I do apologize for the inconvenience, part of that change is that our active email users, who are not broadband customers, are being transitioned to sign up to Everymail, an Open-Xchange (OX) email product. The inactive orphan email users will be deleted soon after this movement. I will manage an escalation as I can confirm that you do have an active broadband account.

I cannot access any of my email address so I wouldn't know about an email about signing up for everymail.

I just get a banner across my webmail telling me my account is going to be deleted and I need to signup asap.

As I have previously mentioned I find this totally unacceptable.

I have checked on your private note and I do see that you have added 4 email addresses, can you confirm if you have received any email about signing up to everymail or if there is a banner when you log into your emails?
