Onetel Email Disappeared

Hi,

I had access to a onetel.com email account until recently. After 19 Jan it says my password is incorrect, across various platforms. I never changed the address so I think something bigger than that is wrong.

I don't have TalkTalk broadband - I don't pay any money to TalkTalk. I'm seeing a lot of mentions of ex customers of TalkTalk having to pay now and/or being migrated to Everymail. Only thing is that this was intimated in June '25 and it was all supposed to happen by October '25 yet my email carried on until Jan '26. Also, I got no communication from TalkTalk about this whatsoever.

I don't mind paying the £5 per month to get this back but I have no idea what to do. If I try to register on Everymail using my onetel email address it takes me straight to TalkTalk webmail where, not surprisingly, any attempt to login to my onetel email is rejected.

Can anyone show me what to do. Needless to say being locked out of my email is pretty bad!!

thanks

Ken

PS I have a pipex email which still works - for now!!

Thank you for updating us, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to you. You should have received communication advising you of the migration.

The messages I was getting pointed to wrong password. However experience suggested to me that that was a catch all for other problems. However, in desperation I used the "forgot my password" and to my amazement it worked. I don't know how that happened as the cached password on about 5 different platforms had the same issue.

However it is a warning about depending on services from a supplier to whom I pay no money so I will migrate ASAP, though not to Everymail.

Thanks for your advice.

Nope, never did. I just searched my pipex inbox and no mention of Everymail. Nor was there anything on Onetel. And I am quite careful with those sorts of things. Can you explain it here please?

Thanks

I really hope you are wrong about onetel being gone for good but for now maybe I have a better chance with the pipex since it is still working.

So I go to everymail and hit Subscribe, put in my pipex email and it takes me to a TalkTalk web page?? It seems to think I want it to show me how to access my email by the CURRENT method and doesn't seem to show me how to migrate??

Any help would be gratefully received.

Thanks

The email addresses were not all cut off at the same time [probably too many thousands being processed], but once it's gone, it's likely permanently gone, @buchke.

Have you tried signing up with Everymail for the remaining pipex address?
