Hello

I've just been trying to report a Phishing email to my bank and to the gov.uk service. Both of these memails returned with the following message:

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

Subject:     FW: We require you to re-authenticate your account

      Sent:  03/05/2025 09:06

The following recipient(s) cannot be reached:

      'report@phishing.gov.uk' on 03/05/2025 09:06

550 5.7.1  Reject for policy reason

I have resent the message using another email service I use without problem.

It looks like TalkTalk are blocking sending the reported messages!

P.S. emails to other recipients from my talktalk account work fine, this is a "tiscali.co.uk" account.

Regards Doug

In recent months they have stopped allowing these to be sent as a forwarding message, @Morgai, presumably because it looks like sharing Spam?

It seems to work if you create a separate email and send the offending email as an attached document or screenshot.

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries. Don’t worry we still have plenty of ways to reach out if you need to speak to TalkTalk directly. For more details check out the link in the post at the top of any forum message board.
