(Already posted this as Reply on another thread but starting new thread since support usually seem to ask this)

Hi,

I recently cancelled my talktalk broadband too and wish to retain my pipex email addresses. I was told to subscribe to everymail. I went to everymail.com and clicked subscribe, entered my pipex email/password, which it recognised and then took me to what looks like my usual talktalk  webmail inbox. Looking at the URL though, it does look like the inbox is being hosted by everymail.

The problem is, since I only recently cancelled my talktalk broadband I didn't receive the email about the transition/migration steps that other ex-talktalk customers refer to in other threads on these support pages. In particular, I can find nowhere on the everymail pages where I can actually subscribe as a paying customer and no information on talktalk support pages on how to do this (talktalk's "Email-Transition-FAQs" page has no information on this). From what I understand, the current everymail service I am subscribed to is only a temporary arrangement.

Can anyone from talktalk please help with this ? Maybe the missing email will explain everything if it could be forwarded to me ?

Thanks,

Gary

Hey there, you still haven't received emails about Everymail?

@kanya-TT

You missed the second part of my message: "Can you confirm that, despite various cutoff dates and time limits being mentioned in the transition FAQ and elsewhere, that my email service will continue as normal until this matter is resolved ?"

Please can you advise ?

Thanks,

Thanks for escalating this.

Then we will need to escalate this, because it makes it a bit complicated the fact that your account is recently cancelled. So, we are not sure if you will fall with the other talktalk email only customer and to make it worse you still haven't received an email from Everymail or from us about the transition.

I didn't receive any email about the transition to Everymail.

Also re: your reply from Thursday (which I only just noticed):  "Hey there, @garyw01. After cancelling your account, did you sign up for mailplus."

I was aware of Mailplus already. I enquired about it via chat support (maybe a couple of months ago) and was told it was being discontinued and that I would be able to continue to access my email via another provider (not sure if the name Everymail was explicitly mentioned at that time) and that details would be provided when I cancelled (I hadn't yet cancelled my broadband at that time).

Thanks,

@garyw01

On your emails, you didn't receive an email about the transition even if there was no sign in option.

@kanya-TT

I still don't see the subscribe option in the Mailbox Manager page.

According to the Everymail support pages, EveryMail support (beyond the chatbot) is only available to EveryMail admin users.

The admin role is only available once you have subscribed and have assigned yourself the admin role.

Thus, not being able to subscribe, the only support is via the chatbot which advises me to visit those same support pages (the page where I found the chatbot).

The promised transition to EveryMail cannot even be started until I can see this subscribe option.

Please can you advise ?

Thanks,

@garyw01

Hey there, @garyw01. We will not check if your account is fully closed as of today. But on our end, we would recommend that you contact Everymail on the link below.

@Philile-TT

I can have up to five. Although I currently use only two (although each also has some aliases set up).

Thanks,

@garyw01 just to confirm you only have 1 email address linked with TalkTalk?

I just don't think that it can be set up before leaving, @garyw01 - Everymail won't have you in their sights if you have not yet got "legacy email status".

Staff will be back on here from c 8am on Friday. Hopefully all will become clear ahead of the weekend!

@Gliwmaeden2

Thanks. Accidentally responded to an old post on the earlier thread (duh!). The titles are so similar it can be confusing.

I can see some reason in your explanation. But sometimes it feels more reassuring to be able to get things sorted in advance. There's always scope for plenty of other things to go wrong too!

Thanks,

@garyw01

No. That's my problem. I see no options to do so.

According to screenshot(s) posted elsewhere in this forum I should see a 'subscribe' option in the Mailbox manager app.

I see no such thing.

Nor have I received any email from TalkTalk on the topic of Everymail as other folks on this forum have also referred to.

(EDIT: "Have already replied to your email on another thread." : That comment was not true - it was this thread - similarity of thread titles is getting confusing )

Thanks,

@garyw01

Re-escalating this thread for you, @garyw01.

But I don't think you can subscribe to Everymail ahead of leaving if your Broadband service doesn't officially close before the 31st August.

Those of us with active Broadband accounts and current email addresses are not getting notices about subscribing to Everymail.

People wouldn't be able to set up Mailplus either in the past unless they had left first, so your email is still inclusive in your service while the account is current.

People sometimes change their mind at the last minute, so the account is not assumed to have closed ahead of the scheduled date.

@nomfezeko-TT

As advised by @Gliwmaeden2  I phoned the TalkTalk support number and cancelled my account (ending 31st August 2025).

I still see no option to subscribe to Everymail's paid service in Everymail's mailbox manager page (as some other user(s) seem to have shown in screenshots on this forum).

Neither have I received any email from TalkTalk (nor Everymail) referring to the Everymail service which others also refer to.

What should I expect to happen now ? There seem to be various deadline/cutoff  dates looming up and I am concerned to maintain my email service.

Please can you advise ?

Thanks,

@garyw01

Hopefully, I will get to see the "Subscribe" option on the Mail Manager page. If not I will  need further help.

Thanks,
