TALKTALK LEGACY WEBMAIL

Hello,

Some of my family members have legacy TalkTalk webmail accounts and have been advised these accounts will close from 7 July 2026.

They already have Everymail accounts for their TalkTalk webmail e-mail accounts.

When TalkTalk close their webmail accounts in July will they continue to have uninterrupted access to their TalkTalk webmail via Everymail, or will they need to take further action to ensure continuation of service for their TalkTalk legacy e-mail accounts.

Thanks

Good to hear that you have had the issue cleared up, @Owen3032.

Thanks for posting!

Gliwmaeden2, a fellow customer.

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries. Don’t worry we still have plenty of ways to reach out if you need to speak to TalkTalk directly. For more details check out the link in the post at the top of any forum message board.

Thanks for that Gliwmaeden2 . At present they can access e-mails via TalkTalk webmail interface and also Everymail interface. So from July 2026 TalkTalk webmail interface for e-mail accounts concerned will disappear and Everymail interface will remain active for e-mail accounts concerned without any further action.

Appreciate your help as they want to keep their legacy e-mail accounts active going forward

If they are already with Everymail but this message came from Talktalk, it means Talktalk's own records are in a mess, @Owen3032.

Check that it came from the genuine Talktalk address, when you hover over the sender's name.

Some emails were sent out in error last week to current broadband account holders, as described in the apology notice in this article:

But if these family members already subscribe to Everymail, it is Everymail that should be managing every aspect of their service.
