Never had a problem accessing my TalkTalk email account on my mobile, till a couple of weeks ago. Now, when I go into apps.talktalk.co.uk on my iPhone7S (iOS 15.8.5), I get no response, just the spinning wheel. I have added my account per the given instructions.

No, I meant the Mail app/client built in to your iPhone. See the link posted earlier for more details. But if you have found another client that works for you that's great!

TalkTalk doesn't have its own mail app (is that what you meant by native?), but I've just linked it to BlueMail and it works fine. Not sure I understand the ins and outs, or why the problem suddenly arose, but at least I've got access to my emails when I'm out and about! Time to cut my losses, I think! Thanks to everyone for working to find a solution so promptly. Hopefully, it's the last you'll hear from me....Cheers 😊

@Jrk150 We have been preoccupied with your access via webmail on your iPhone. Have you tried setting up the native Mail app to see if that works, as @siphosethu-TT has suggested?:

I think we are going over old ground here. The customer has a rather old iPhone running on an equally old iOS which is no longer able to be updated. Sorry for the repeated use of the word "old!"

Happy to accept that, but it begs the question as to what has changed in the last couple of weeks to suddenly make my phone obsolete!

Sorry to say this, but as I suggested previously it seems that your iPhone is simply no longer up to the task.

Tried to download Chrome but it requires a minimum of iOS 17.0 which my phone can't accept. Tried it, instead, with Firefox and Opera. Both browsers took me to the login screen but wouldn't let me get beyond that - spinning wheel.

Hi @Jrk150 If possible, download another browser like Chrome from the App Store and try accessing your TalkTalk email through that.

To be honest, deleting and re-adding my account was the first thing I tried when I encountered the problem. I have tried again but, like then, it has made no difference. I don't even get the login screen.

hi @Jrk150 yes, Remove and Re-add Account: Go to Settings > Mail > Accounts, select your TalkTalk account, and try removing it. Then, add it back following the setup instructions.

I am using webmail, but I'm not sure what you mean by 'remove my account'. You don't mean my TalkTalk account?

Did that. Took a long time to get to the login screen but it came up eventually. Entered my userid/password but have had the spinning wheel for over 5 minutes.

Alright, please try to restart your device and log out and log In again.
