I've had a letter today stating that TalkTalk can't reach me by email, and to update my email address to avoid a charge for paper billing.
I've checked the email account and can't see a problem, I can send and receive mails to it from my phone, desktop and webmail, checked settings etc.
Where do I go from here?

There was some unknown issue in the Billing system mail sender getting the billing notification delivered to your current MyAccount address. The Billing system which is separate from normal TalkTalk emails has auto-suppressed sending to your current email address which is why a change of MyAccount login email is necessary.

OK, thanks for the advice. Any reason why TalkTalk can't successfully send me an email to a TalkTalk email address? This has worked fine for years and years, and I got email notification via the same address to say you had replied to my message.

Change your MyAccount login to a non-TalkTalk email address. See E-Bill Notifications
