Why is it impossible to talk to anyone that inspires confidence at TalkTalk support?

I have recently transferred my broadband away from Talktalk but need continued access to emails. Nobody at support has been able to give me definitive details about the change of my package to email only and amendments to my direct debit to reflect this.

There will be a period of grace before you need to transfer and pay for your emails.

 

When the time comes to transfer you will receive an email asking you to subscribe to Everymail.

 

How long you will continue to use your emails free though, I do not know.
