Alternatively, we can also run checks for you against the inability to send these emails to the right or the intended recipient, but you should also check if your email client is configured correctly with the right SMTP settings for Tiscali. This includes the outgoing mail server (SMTP) settings, port numbers, and authentication methods. You can do these by using the steps as guided on the link below.

Thank for that advice. I have sent the message as a private message to Ady. Hope I have got that correct now.

A Private Message is an internal mail, @DrBobS.

You need to click on Ady's avatar and in his profile area you'll see the option to send message (button is on a blue background).

That's how the information needs to be sent.

Staff will respond after the weekend.

Hi Ady. I have put the test report into my Private notes. Hope that is what you want. Note that when I sent it, I got the message 'An invalid HTML tag has been found.'

Hi DrBobS, please send what you last posted to me in a personal message. Include the full sending and receiving addresses.

I don't normally use web mail so I will have to run some tests and get back to you.

Hi DrBobS, if you send an email from webmail to any of those individual emails with no forwards does it work?

Thanks, Done

Message 14 of 22

Thanks, yes, I could see the later replies fine.

I think I'll remove the specific email addresses that you mention from the main post.

That sort of thing is better put in Private Notes.

It's a good idea to complete your community forum profile details too, @DrBobS.

So, go via your avatar; settings; drop down menu. Add your Talktalk phone number or account number in Personal Information and scroll down to find Private Notes to list the addresses affected.

Scroll down further still to SAVE CHANGES.

It's best to keep all Information of that sort out of public view. Only you and staff have access to the profile area.

You may have replied previously to the notification email, @DrBobS, but that has a no reply address.

So just post back here to follow up and check replies. Sorry it's likely to be slow at this time of year.

Sorry I thought I had replied.

All incoming mail is being delivered normally whether forwarded or not. The problem is with sent mail. We have taken out references to the domain 'senior-moments,me.uk' and we do not use the 'reply to' facility when sending. I have attached a return to sender report for the latest bounce. This email was sent as a reply to an email from a.copperwaite.  I am concerned that the address 'XXXXX@talktalk.net' may be blacklisted.

@DrBobS, could you respond to the question that @Ady-TalkTalk asked you in his reply?

Staff will not be back on here before Friday, unfortunately. There is a bare bones team on here till 2nd January, and no cover at the weekend or 1st January.

There's some support available via phone or Chat. Check out their hours near the foot of this page:

The situation looks to be getting worse. I have just had an error message including:-

The DMARC policy for the domain talktalk.net tells us to reject this email.
571 We protected our customers by not allowing any more emails from your IP
address till we notice an improvement. You may have been affected
unknowingly through your email provider. Please contact your email provider
    to assist.

I am asked to contact my email provider and I think I can only do this through this community, so HELP!
