I am receiving this message when trying to send emails using outlook or online. Receiving emails is fine.

Message could not be sent to the following recipients: [xxx] (554 - 554 5.7.1 <yyyy@talktalk.net>: Sender address rejected: You are blocked sending mail
)

I assume my account is locked. How do I get it unlocked or can someone on here unlocking please. Thanks.

Hi There.

Initially couldn't receive e-mails, but then when changed password was able to receive emails, but still not send them.

But this is just on my email address s********@talktalk.net.  My husband's email address k**********@talktalk.net hasn't been affected at all.

thanks

You should never post email addresses in public. Make sure that your personal details including TalkTalk phone number or account number are complete on your community profile (click here) and then add the email addresses you are concerned about in the Private notes section where only you and TalkTalk can see them.

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries. Don’t worry we still have plenty of ways to reach out if you need to speak to TalkTalk directly. For more details check out the link here: How to contact TalkTalk Broadband - Help & Support.

There’s an email address for me which is *removed* and an email address for my husband which is *removed*.  I can’t send emails from my account but my husbands is working fine. When I changed the password for my talktalk account I had to adjust the password for my email account to match, but my husband didn’t have to change anything. I can’t send from my webmail either.

Just to confirm @shooper Are you able to to send emails using webmail?

As i can see there are 2 email addresses already linked to your TalkTalk broadband account, so you should not experience any issues.

Hi there.

Think I'd already replied, but can't see it now.

No I don't see a red banner when I login telling me I need to subscribe.

I'm a talk talk customer so shouldn't need to subscribe.

But I'm still being blocked from sending emails to anyone.

Can you help?

thanks

Hi there @shooper, please confirm if you see a red banner when you login webmail, informing you that you need to subscribe?

Sue

If you log in to webmail https://apps.talktalk.co.uk/appsuite, do you see a red banner informing you that you need to subscribe?

If you are a TalkTalk customer, then you do not need to subscribe, but if you see a red banner, then take a look at this topic:

TalkTalk is fine, when there are no issues, but getting issues resolved can be a real headache.
Incorrect information on TalkTalk help pages is unhelpful.

No - I'm blocked sending to ANYONE.  It's been happening a few days.

I'm a talk talk customer, but whoever I send to I get the same message:

Message could not be sent to the following recipients: ******************************** You are blocked sending mail

Sue,

That error code indicates the recipient server is blocking you, rather than your account being blocked from sending altogether.

Do the addresses you are attempting to send to have various domain names, e.g. gmail.com, live.co.uk. outlook.com, or is it happening with one domain  in particular?
