Someone has hacked into one of my email accounts again and knows my password and has put a trojan something into my computer and stolen all my info etc etc which is complete nonsense as nothing has been stolen.

Last time I changed the password and away he went however this time I am unable to change my password to prevent this nuisance from accessing my email account....... Help !!!!

Hi,

Sorry you have this issue as its annoying.

Have you recently had any emails requesting to confirm your details as this is the most common way viruses get onto your computer.

I suggest that you immediately run a virus scan and also run a separate malware scan. I assume you have a virus programme on your PC but if you dont have a malware programme, I use the free version of Malwarebytes.

Can you not get into your emails?. It sounds like they've lock you out. Correct?

After the last issue, did you set up a recovery email address or phone number?

Staff here are not back until Monday so your best option is probably via the phone or chat tomorrow.

Please run the suggested scans though to hopefully clear any virus or malicious code from your device.
