Still not getting email at lineone .Several days now. But I do get talktalk generated 6 digit codes.

Any ideas? When will the fault be fixed? Is anyone working on this problem.

As you're the only one raising this I'll have to create a normal fault ticket. Hopefully, it will be fixed soon.

Hi ADY    Still getting Tesco today ,but still haven't got any from Omaze since 17th Jan , can you please follow this one up now Tesco appears to be fixed...thanks....33JM81

The team are so busy trying to fix lots of faults with email they won't be able to investigate individual instances for me at present. Let's hope they get the tesco issue fixed soon.

ADY....Something strange happened yesterday 12/02/25....I logged into Tesco , and as they normally do , they sent a 'Was that you?' email which I got on Lineone at 15 43....then at 15 52 I got a repeat. They came from      <no-reply@mail.tesco.com> .  

Today I signed in and booked a new delivery slot and got  neither a 'Was it you' or confirmation of the slot.

Is it possible to see what changed in those 24 hours ? (I thought for a minute it had been fixed , but I guess not) ...33JM81

Your problem may be more than those with the Tesco issue then. Once the tool comes back online my colleague will take a look at the mailbox to see if there's anything obvious.

ADY    Yes I can send and receive from Lineone to Gmail to myself.

 

In addition to Tesco , I should have had emails from Premium bonds and Amaze that I know of for sure.....but I would have expected others (but don't know for sure).....33JM81

Just to be clear the only emails you know you aren't getting is the tesco ones? Have you tried sending and email to the lineone address from itself and from a non TalkTalk email?

Ok ADY...no problem.

However I still losing emails....as I posted yesterday , Tesco for sure (as I spoke to them and I know they sent it ). Do you know whether the problem has been identified and if so when it will be fixed......I mean at least 2 weeks now....it is a pain.

Also since I have deleted those many filters on the USA newsletters I'm getting at least 4-5 a day ...some go straight to Spam and some go to my inbox. However my link to Lineone within my Gmail account doesn't receive any of them....seems odd.....33JM81

ok ADY.......but is it possible to have a new modern address with an alias linking back to the old address , so that you don't have to inform anyone of your email address change. I think people could then easily keep their passwords up to date , that is fairly easy  , but changing address is a pain. I'm sure this could be programmed in without too much effort...being an ex programmer (many years ago).

TalkTalk have never made mail backups it require an unbelievable amount of storage and money to maintain even a weeks worth of all mailboxes. The rejections are caused by a great many customers keeping very old unsecure email addresses rather than a new updated more secure password that hasn't been used elsewhere or indeed before. Trying to maintain a secure email system has proven to be incredibly difficult if not impossible over the years.

Thanks ADY.....that's pretty poor if they haven't got them backed-up  , I assume this is all to do with the upgrade.

I going to make a guess here........if you have too many filter (although I have not seen any ref to a restricted number) , then the system can't handle them , either by taking too long to process or has limited number of checks .

I am interested to know what caused the problem and what I need to do to avoid it happening again.....33JM81

Thanks...ADY says it has...but still no joy as they say that it's not blocked and I have changed password. Strange thing is , that 2 newsletter from usa got thru and also talktalk 6 digit code to sign in.....any clues on that?
