Still not getting email at lineone .Several days now. But I do get talktalk generated 6 digit codes.

Any ideas? When will the fault be fixed? Is anyone working on this problem.

ok ADY.......but is it possible to have a new modern address with an alias linking back to the old address , so that you don't have to inform anyone of your email address change. I think people could then easily keep their passwords up to date , that is fairly easy  , but changing address is a pain. I'm sure this could be programmed in without too much effort...being an ex programmer (many years ago).

TalkTalk have never made mail backups it require an unbelievable amount of storage and money to maintain even a weeks worth of all mailboxes. The rejections are caused by a great many customers keeping very old unsecure email addresses rather than a new updated more secure password that hasn't been used elsewhere or indeed before. Trying to maintain a secure email system has proven to be incredibly difficult if not impossible over the years.

Thanks ADY.....that's pretty poor if they haven't got them backed-up  , I assume this is all to do with the upgrade.

I going to make a guess here........if you have too many filter (although I have not seen any ref to a restricted number) , then the system can't handle them , either by taking too long to process or has limited number of checks .

I am interested to know what caused the problem and what I need to do to avoid it happening again.....33JM81

Yes I would say if they weren't received within 24 hours they're not going to arrive.

ADY....some good news , further to my previous note....I have sent to myself from Lineone and Gmail both received.....but my week's email from Lineone  have not appeared...33JM81

ADY...I finally found out how to delete those filters....they are now all deleted....but still the same.

Thanks...ADY says it has...but still no joy as they say that it's not blocked and I have changed password. Strange thing is , that 2 newsletter from usa got thru and also talktalk 6 digit code to sign in.....any clues on that?

You have a lot of filters setup in webmail. Are those not setup by you?

ADY......Have updated my password,  as you advised , but still no change ,this is becoming very frustrating......I await further advice....thanks.

Also how do I do the filters?...the only one I have used is to resend spam/newsletter , mainly from USA (and why did that one get thru?) back to themselves....33JM81

Hi @33JM81  I strongly suspect that there are changes going on in the background which are causing these issues. Hopefully they will be completed sooner than later. Your post has been escalated.
