I have updated my iphone email settings (IMAP) for my Tiscali account but I cannot send or receive email - I get the error: password not entered for account (even though I am certain the password entered + the settings are correct).
I can logon to TalkTalk webmail without any issue.

Unfortunately, the team weren't able to re run the fix on Friday. I've asked them to do it today for you.

Just to check the tiscali email settings are correct, please screenshot the incoming and outgoing server settings on the iPhone, image edit to ensure the first part of your email address isn't revealed and upload here using the picture icon above this Reply area.
Happy to make sure you're ready if it's just a case that there wasn't enough time to restore IMAP access on Friday.

Only device used to access tiscali email (via IMAP) is iPhone 12 - iOS 16.3. I have already checked the mentioned guides, so I assume that my issue is that I need full access to be restored. Thx.

Good to know that webmail is working.
Your TalkTalk mailbox will have been limited to webmail only access because of continued use of insecure settings on the iPhone and or any other devices or mail collection service you use to view your mail messages. The iPhone is probably capable of secure mail but will not authenticate an IMAP connection until TalkTalk restore full access.
What model iPhone is it and what is the iOS operating system version? Other than the iPhone do you use any other devices or mail collection service to view your emails?
I'll provide a guide to checking settings on the iPhone (below) so you're ready for secure access. But do let us know if you also use other methods as some devices / services may not support secure mail so will need to be ceased. I'll request full access is restored but you must use only secure settings from now on on all devices and services.
Prepare for TalkTalk Support - include in the Community Profile (not in these public posts):
Account holder name, TalkTalk home 'phone number
Alternative mobile contact number. Full address with postcode (in the Location box)
Scroll down to Private notes to add the customer email address and account number
Check and Save changes
