hi ady gondola & all I can't log in to my email I get the user is deactivated message authorisation 0001 so I can't check paypal or other payments , needless to say talk talk is closed for maintenance so I can't log in to the talktalk my account either . You know the saying about the straw and the camel's back? well we're getting there.

heeeeeeelp

blodwyn

PS Panic over but not annoyance level I could not log in with chrome 117 but have managed to log in with firefox , what kind of third rate coding department does talktalk have that I get the problem with the most used browser on the planet? Obviously it has to do with the new improved excitingly different email service that no one asked for. I think my heart rate is back to normal now ( well nearly) but it might act as a guide for others

The Open-Xchange support is for a minimum Android OS 4.1 and the Chrome browser latest version and previous version. Other browsers will show the unsupported message.

However, I use Firefox for mobile on Android 11 synchronised to my Firefox desktop and haven't had any issues with TalkTalk Mail.

So, the official answer is: If you don't wish to see the unsupported message on sign in then use Android OS 4.1 or later and the Chrome browser.

Unofficially, and just between you and me, if the Android OS is up to date then continue to use Firefox and ignore the message.

I'm not aware that TalkTalk systems are all down. Is that just local to your area, in the South? OK here at present.

Thanks for taking the time to report back to Ady who is not here right now but will pick up your report next week.  In the meantime, have a safe, albeit wet and stormy weekend for many.

hi, this is weird , after notifying that I could log in with firefox but got blocked using chrome I found that if I entered the details by typing instead of letting the browser do it , it logged in ok with chrome . Now (9/10/23) the new email system is in place and it's working normally!

I had the same problem. For anyone else having this issue and getting the Unauthorised - 001 or a similar error message about deactivation check your URL. If yours (like mine did) says https://apps-legacy.talktalk.co.uk/appsuite/ then edit it by removing -legacy. so that it now reads https://apps.talktalk.co.uk/appsuite/  and you should get to your upgraded mailbox. If this works then save that edited URL as your new bookmark.
