Hi Steeb, please send me a personal message with the affected email address and it's parent email. It would also help to confirm the sending email settings.

Hi Billx,
it is one of the other email accounts you can have associated with the main email address. I don't know if talktalk use a specific name for them, hence the question mark and double apostraphies.

Sorry, I am a bit ignorant
Does an alias mean
that both the email address and the alias of the email address, receive the emails addressed to either the email address or the alias of the email address?

Hi Ady,
this only happens when sending from my partners email address via thunderbird. Webmail is fine. My partners email address is an "alias"? of my mail email address. I added her email to another laptop, but the result was the same.

Hi Steeb, are you getting this message in webmail? Are you sending using your talktalk email address?
