I need somebody from Talk Talk to tell me if you are blocking me from watching content from Channel 5 in the UK.
I can reach the top-level domain of the site to browse, but as soon as I click the 'Watch' button I get nothing. I have already contacted C5 tech support and they have indicated that their systems are not at fault and have advised me to contact my ISP and ask the above question.
Admittedly, I have been watching a fair bit of content as I am housebound due to illness at the moment.
But If you guys have blocked me from watching on demand online content, I will have no option but to leave Talk Talk after 9 years and move elsewhere.

Hi John
How are you getting on?
Thanks
Debbie

Thanks for the info regarding usage restrictions...

Hi Debbie
I will come back here and report if it's made a difference or not - although I cannot do this for a couple of hours...
If I have no joy, a new modem to try would be appreciated 🙂

No problem with the website as far as I can see, before posting my earlier comments I checked and tested some sample on demand content and everything worked fine.

@Biomechanic TT do not restrict usage.
It's either a problem with the website or your device and software.

Hi John
Thank you, please let us know how you get on following the 30 minute power down.
There would be no charge for the router as I can send this for testing. We only ask that one router is returned (you can keep the new one and return the current one)

Hi Debbie
I did all of that last week...
I'm going to power down my router for another full 30 mins and see if that makes a difference...
In another post you suggested sending another router for testing... is there a cost attached to that ?
Thanks
John

Hi John
This is not traffic shaping.
Please can you try one more 30 minute power down of the router? ensuring the router is off for a full 30 minutes.

This happens on multiple browsers... Chrome / Firefox / Opera
I have already checked the above via advice from C5 themselves.
Again, I need to ask the question again as nobody has answered it yet.
Am I the subject of traffic-shaping here ?

Hi John
Could you also try the suggestions in Fergusons post?

Hi Debbie
There are pop-ups for age restricted content. but this happens for ANY program, regardless of whether they are age restricted or not...

Alongside Debbie's suggestions try the following. Make sure that pop-ups and redirects are enabled in your Chrome permissions. Turn off any ad blocker. And maybe temporarily switch off any anti virus program. Clear cookies and cache and try logging in again.

Hi John
Just a thought, I have just tried searching this channel for programmes and there is a pop up for age restricted content.
Do you see any pop ups when trying to access certain programmes?

Hi John
Thank you. It's strange because I can't see any reason why you can't access this channel, as you have checked your HomeSafe/KidsSafe settings.
I can send a replacement router for testing, just so we have ruled everything out. Would you like me to arrange this?

I can watch ITVx / BBC iPlayer and Channel 4 Catch-up fine (for now)
The My5 app is for android only, there is no PC version.

Hi John
Thanks for the additional information.
Do you have any issues using/accessing any other channels such as BBC iplayer?
Are you able to download apps? Could you try the Channel 5 app? (My5)

Homework time is turned off. The only thing that's on is 'Scam protection'
I don't have any other device.

Hi John
Thank you 🙂
What does it show for Homework time? (in My Account)
In regards to the website, have you tried it on a different device too?
I can't see any reasons for why you can't access this site.

Hi Debbie
Just looked and I can confirm that 'Kidsafe' is switched off.
