FTTP Connection Openreach

Im in contact with Openreach who are enabling FTTP for us. (there are some properties already on FTTP in our street but we getting ours done via escalation). Openreach has confirmed that they are waiting on activation of equipment hence until this is done im unable to place an order for full fibre.

Question - Do i have to wait until this is completed or can i place an order with TalkTalk without having this completed first. If its the latter there is a good chance my current contract will be up for renewal hence if this is the case, can TalkTalk put me on FTTC whilst FTTP is getting enabled. I do realise i can take up the FTTC package and 'upgrade' later but i can only get a 'good' deal when signing up for FTTP as a new customer. Any suggestion how to proceed? Many Thanks

Hi SatGaundar

 

You wont be able to place an FTTP order with us until its available, but if you speak to our sales team, or use our website you can transfer to FTTC with us. We have offers available all the time so by the time that full fibre is ready there may be a better deal than what is being currently offered, but we wont know until that time comes.
