Green screen every time TalkTalk’s new TV hub box is switched on .

The green screen can be rectified by switching off at the mains NOT the box itself but you have to do this every time the box is off when not being used. In excess of 6 hours with TalkTalk’s “technical experts” the problem still exists. I have replaced HDMI cable but feel this is the root cause. Is it the box itself.

Thanks, I have tried both cable and power and is now working ok Only time will tell!!

Have you tried swapping HDMI ports on the TV?

 

A colour screen usually signifies an HDMI issue. Did you use the lead that came with the box as this is a higher spec than some cables.

 

Sounds silly but try reversing the cable too. That has, gor some reason, been known to work, but possibly due to reseating the cable in the ports.

 

Also does the port on your TV allow for customisation? On my LG TV I have specified that the port should allow HDR signals through. Might be worth checking.
