How to add Ethernet ports

My old router had several Ethernet ports; the new one has only two. I need a third one for my wireless thermostat. Any suggestions? Thank you

Investing in a network switch will allow you to connect several devices to your router via a wired connection, ensuring that every device is provided a seamless high-speed connection. You can use any network switch you like, but we’d recommend a gigabit network switch, which can handle speeds of up to 1000 Mbps.

Yes. It was installed yesterday. It’s only in the evening I noticed my thermostat app was not connected anymore.
