Intermittently high ping Jittering

I have contacted support several times but the issue still occurs. Occasionally (several times per week) my ping latency will jitter with several spikes to very high ping >100ms occurring every few seconds. This is especially noticeable for online games which are inaccessible when this happens. It will often happen for several hours and then return to normal. This happens several times a week and sometimes multiple times per day. The problem occurs throughout the household and not just in one location. The issue occurs on several devices both through ethernet and wifi connection.

The replacement router is on its way, please allow 24-48hrs for this to arrive.

 

Let us know how the connection compares with this router.

Hello yes the issue has happeend today 22/9/24 at 5pm. Here is the speed test taken at the same time. It does not appear to happen at the same time every week. Can you provide a replacement router to test please?

Good morning,

 

I'm sorry to hear this. I've run a test on the line now which is clear and your connection stats look very consistent. Does it seem to happen at exactly the same time every week? If you run a speed test when this happens, whats speeds do you see? Would it be possible to check the voice service the next time this happens please to see if there is any noise on the line.

 

Have you ever tested with a replacement router?
