My router appears to be missing ALL of it's logs
When I try to access the logs - it's like swimming in thick syrup checking anything on the WiFi hub page - such as Light Control - and eventually when the page opens - it is EMPTY - No logs at all on any of the options !!
Plus I am unable to reboot the router remotely - when I try, I just get the swirly cursor for several minutes
It seems that Firmware SG4K100208 is CORRUPT !!
Please fix this ASAP

Okay thank you for confirming that.

For the record, I bug test each firmware release & I pass my report to your Devices team via @Lorrainef.

Hi @Weevie
This is not a situation that I like either, I am in the same position. As soon as it was brought to my attention & I tested mine to ensure that I could replicate the problem, I passed it over to TalkTalk. Their Devices team deals with problems from there. I assume that it has been brought to the attention of Sagemcom, who will fix it.
I hope that the fix will be in the next firmware revision. I have not been told when that will be released.

So basically - I am stuck without any access to my router logs - and as for a fix - I may a well forget that ?
Who has been tasked with this job ?
A TalkTalk employee or the manufacturers of the router ?

I was responding to @Weevie "So others are getting the same problems ?" Noting this topic had been raised elsewhere, and that I'd had a response saying there was no fix date for next release.

I found the wifi dropping out on some but not all devices - and I did get it rolled back, @Weevie.
No drops on the relevant device when back on 206.
The trouble is, it will automatically update again at some stage. I've had it rolled back twice so far.
208 is not as marvellous as they seem to think!

Just a few glitches that I would like to check the reasons for......
WiFi suddenly dropping out for no reason etc
on 12-04-2025 05:25 PM
Not being funny, but checking the logs tended to be low on my list of priorities. Are you having any particular issues with your service at the moment?
on 12-04-2025 04:15 PM
So others are getting the same problems ?
I assume that it is linked to the firmware update ?
Surely - the firmware can be downgraded to the previous version ?
This is extremely important to get fixed

It's a known bug, on the to do list for future updates.
