New Shell Modem/Router -no internet light

I'm an old Post Office customer who was migrated to Shell, then to TalkTalk. My old Post Office branded modem gave up the ghost so i requested a new one. Today a new modem arrived, in a Shell box with Shell livery on the modem. Putting aside using the old owner's branding (truly bizarre, if not illegal?) my main issue is the fact that I now have no internet. The Internet light has never come on. Has my service been cancelled?

Probably a fault, but you will be asked to contact the Shell Migration Team, @TruffleCrisps.
Call 03451 720088 after 9am tomorrow morning, or try to reach Chat today if you can use data.
