Poor divice speed for router

Download speed from router is maximum 1Mb this is ridiculous as it seems there's 76MB coming to the router. I think I need a new router

Can I just check, have you tried powering down the router for a full 30 minutes and then running a speed test?

What sort of devices do you have & how do they connect to the router, via Ethernet or WiFi?
