Would it be possible to get replacement router
current router keeps getting slow connections and going off altogether
lines been checked but no problems showing with them

Slow speeds to the device is very often not a router fault at all. However, what do you mean by "going off altogether"? Which make/model of router do you have & when it goes off, what are the light(s) showing on the router at that time?
