Hello
I have a Talk Talk supplied Sagem modem which has been working ok. But recently it seems to become ‘locked up’. Single white light stays on but wired and wireless stops working. Trying to log in using 192.168.1.1 produces a communication gateway error.
I’ve done a line test which has returned no issues. A reboot of the router brings it back to life but then the problem repeats after a few hours.
Could the modem be at end of life? Any advice please. ☺️

Hi Chris - it's been ok over the weekend. I will continue to monitor and see what happens. Thanks

Hi OrganicUK,
How has it been over the weekend? The last reboot appears to have been on the 13th

Hello Michelle
Yes, I have performed a factory reset - but I am still getting the errors. The white light stays solid on, but WiFi and wired devices stop communicating with the internet. If I try and log onto the router while in this state I can get to the login page but putting in the username and password brings an error which says 'Communication Error with the Gateway'. A reboot seems to bring it back to life, but then the problem repeats. Please see attached screenshot.
Your help would be appreciated.
Thank you

Hello,
Great thank you. If there is no change following this then we can send a replacement router for testing purposes to rule this out.
Thanks
Michelle

Thank you - no, not yet. Let me try that now and will report back if issue re-occurs.

Morning,
I'm sorry to hear this. Have you tried factory resetting the router and then re-set it back up again to see how this compares?
Thanks
Michelle
