I have a openreach gfast modem and the internet light is permanently out. I have software that monitors my network connection and this is a sample from that,

I have had a new router TalkTalk but this problem remains. I understand that the gfast is no longer supplied. Therefore is it possible that TalkTalk can supply a replacement modem?

I have fitted new modem and no problem with that. My internet monitor connection app to says I have no internet for the last 13 hours, as shown by this.
I DO HAVE INTERNET CONNECTION and have had all the time so I have to assume that monitor app is at fault. I will therefore call this subject closed and return old modem to you as requested. Thank you for your help.

I'm sorry to hear this.
The line tests are clear - no faults detected.
If the connection continues to drop (including wired connections) then the next step will be an Openreach engineer visit.

Hi Debbie,
I have been away and found the parcel had been delivered yesterday. Whilst away and using my laptop on another system I found I was still having same issues therefore changing modem may not help.
I did a bit of research and in the end I reset the network connections on my laptop. All the time I was away I had no problems and since being home I have had 20 hours with no problems. I was going to wait a day of two before fitting new modem to see if I had solved the problem.

I have ordered a replacement modem, this will replace your current modem and also the TT router.
