Hi Guys,

My landline appears to be working but my internet connection has failed. I used the line test function to report the fault but the Service Status Active Fault Timeline is blank.

Please can you investigate my broadband fault?

Thanks,

Jackie

P.S. Several hours later I discovered my landline has failed too!

Morning,

I'm sorry for the delay. Could you try powering down the router for a full 30 minutes and then retest again please.

Thanks

Hi Chris,

The Ping is running at 144!

Should I wait for the DLM thingy to kick in? Or reboot the router?

Thanks,

Jackie

i will keep this post open for a couple of days before closing.

No problem. It's been raised as a non-appointed task so Openreach will investigate over the next 72 hours and may contact you directly if they need to access your home

Hi Jackie,

I didn't test the landline, I just checked the broadband connection and it showed the router was connected to the Internet. I've now run a  couple of voice line tests, they aren't completing, but I can see that this has now been raised to Openreach for investigation.

Morning Chris,

Absolutely no landline and no broadband here! Don’t understand how your test could show a connection as the dialling tone is just a grumbling noise.

Please can you test the phone line?

Thanks,

Jackie
