Some URLs are blocked

Hi,

Some URLs are blocked on different devices with various browsers at home using TalkTalk.

The URLs are not blocked elsewhere with different ISP.

A friend with TT has same issue.

Examples of blocked URLs:

https://sso.teachable.com/secure/831191/identity/sign_up/otp

https://tinyurl.com/Gyulama

What to do?

Have you checked whether Homesafe settings are affecting which sites you can visit, @Soggy2?

See here:

Also, you need to reply to Mandisa-TT's question:

"Do you see a blocked webpage notification message when attempting to access the site you experience problems with?"

Thanks for the explanation 👍

I look forward to read the solution in the forum tomorrow.

@Soggy2, the point of the forum is for other customers to follow the progress of resolving an issue, which may be helpful to their own situation too.

It's all conducted online in the thread, unless support staff need sensitive information, in which case they use PMs [private messages].

Notifications are from a No Reply address, so you cannot open dialogue that way.

You can contact Talktalk directly through live chat or on 03451 720088 [free from a Talktalk landline] during the opening hours listed here:

Only using TT does it say "This site can't be reached'.

I have successfully opened the URLs with same device using different ISP.

Its a pity you cannot call. Can you send emails to me directly?   Because your notification of messages to forum emails go to Spam where I do not see them and not notified. I marked them all as Not Spam but still they go to Spam. Siiigh.

No, and neither does the other TT user who cannot access the URLs.

Please call me on mobile or email me to resolve this easier and quicker.

@Soggy2 I will run checks on your line, Do you have any active monitoring for life threatening health reasons which is solely dependant upon your TalkTalk Broadband or Telephone line?

For example a care alarm, lifeline, health pendant or fall detector.

I could access the Teachable site previously.

I don't know exactly when the obstacle arose but in the last few months, I believe.

Sorry for delay in replying. I thought I would receive email notification. There appeared to be a box selected indicating that.

How to get email notification of reply messages?
