Hi,
Some URLs are blocked on different devices with various browsers at home using TalkTalk.
The URLs are not blocked elsewhere with different ISP.
A friend with TT has same issue.
Examples of blocked URLs:
https://sso.teachable.com/secure/831191/identity/sign_up/otp

Good you found the solution - it does seem rather drastic that ALL the Homesafe options need to be off though!

Good day and good news 🙂,
The issue is resolved for me. I am now able to open the URLs on Android phone & tablet and on Windows laptop 👍👏 🥳
To recap so others don't need to read previous 30+ posts.
There's no need to clear the cache or cookies nor restart the router.
KidSafe, Homework time, Scamsafe and Virus Alerts all need to be OFF.
It does NOT work if Kidsafe is On with URLs input as exceptions.
With all 4 of the above OFF, I can open the URLs.
Thanks to Kanya & co for suggesting various solutions and big thanks to Gliwmaeden2 the shining ⭐ for helping me to navigate this complicated process.

The other customer will post soon.
She's not a young techie either, so please clearly explain techie instructions/requests.
There must surely be other customers being blocked from certain URLs tho probably not those I posted.
Others may not have figured out its an ISP issue and this process is onerous and time consuming.
Maybe they just moved to a different ISP.

@kanya-TT, I don't think we know who the other person is as they have not yet posted about it.
@Soggy2, could you ask your friend to join the forum and then start a new topic of their own for this issue? That will start to give Talktalk a better perspective of numbers affected etc.

Alas, I still cannot open the URLs. I have tried on different devices. Please try again.
The other issue from today which maybe related.
I can now log into Yahoo mail and TalkTalk accounts on my laptop.

@Soggy2 it's not actually possible to see the previous messages with the same numbering that you refer to in this thread - it depends on what order you have set the display of messages to.
Probably simpler copying and pasting a reply from earlier if we ask a question more than once!

I studied a course for months on sso.teachable.com from last autumn until March 2025. It worked fine.
A few months ago they sent the signup URL above for a new course. I cannot access it at home with TT.
I need to access it at home as have a physical disability.

Kidsafe, Scam Protection, Homework time are all OFF.
Virus Alerts is ON.
I suppose the staff members who are trying to resolve this have checked those settings and will adjust, if necessary.
I replied to Mandisa's Q in message 5.
This is very frustrating, for me and other TT User with same URL issue.

Good day,
I am at home. The URLs problem remains the same.
In addition, today I cannot log into TalkTalk nor Yahoo accounts on my Windows laptop. Both worked fine yesterday evening. Is this related?
Please resolve both issues, as soon as possible.
