UPGRADED TO FIBRE65 - NO SIGN OF NEW ROUTER

Hi there,

 

I’ve recently upgraded to Fibre65 from a legacy contract but have had no sign of a new router. I saw an early communication about an engineer appointment when I upgraded but haven’t seen or heard anything since.

 


Am I right in expecting a new router? Has this been sent?

 

I get billed tomorrow if that helps.

Hi chaeunwoo,

 

Which router do you currently have? We generally would only send a replacement router if the current router isn't compatible with the new service

The wording about new routers can cause confusion, @chaeunwoo.

 

Usually you will only be sent a new one as a new customer. When renewing or upgrading the old one will do fine, unless you need one for Full Fibre to the premises and need to plug the phone into it etc.

 

If your current one develops a fault, it can be replaced by the forum support staff.
